1. Loosen the captive screws on the server panel using a screwdriver. See (1) in Figure 3-1.

2. Pull out the server from the cabinet along the guide rails away. See (2) in Figure 3-1.
3. Place the removed server on an ESD platform.
Step 5 Remove the screws that secure a guide rail. See Figure 3-2.
