Examine the sensors and the area around the sensors
for pieces of paper or chad, which the printer will sense
as forms. On Model A00, the flashing path light on the
operator panel is an indication of which path detected
the paper.
Is there chad?
Vacuum or blow out all the chad.
Wipe the sensor with antistatic
liquid (IBM P/N 2200118).
If you judge the amount of chad
to be excessive, advise the
customer to:
v Frequently clean out the chad.
v Ask the forms supplier to
reduce the chad.
