Model 825 upgrades
See Chapter 16, “Upgrades to iSeries servers” on page 307, for general upgrade
considerations and server-to-server upgrade possibilities. Supported model
upgrades for the Model 825 are identified in IBM Eserver iSeries Supported
Upgrades, REDP-0322.
On Demand features
IBM eServer iSeries offers several Capacity on Demand options that make it
possible to activate additional processor resource. Capacity Upgrade on
Demand, On/Off Capacity on Demand, Reserve Capacity on Demand, and Trial
Capacity on Demand are currently available. The following table summarizes the
different On Demand offerings and the features used. Base featues are shaded
gray.
