Internal tape device specifications
The following table identifies the read/write capability, operating system
requirements, capacity, media part numbers, performance and compression
specifications of internal tape devices available for IBM Eserver i5 and iSeries.
Through optional tape compaction or compression, the tape devices identified in
the following table can double their storage capacities (except the #6380 2.5 GB
¼-inch Cartridge Tape Unit). The following table shows the internal tape
read/write compatibilities.
