The #0553 is a 19 inch wide 2 meter high rack which contains 42 EIA units of
space. The #0553 can be ordered as a feature of an iSeries or i5 server as part
of an initial order or added at a later time.
The following features specify the means of populating the #0553 rack.

#0137 Field Install in Rack
#0138 Field Install in Rack
#0578 PCI Expansion Unit in Rack
#0588 PCI-X Expansion Unit in Rack
#0595 PCI-X Tower Unit in Rack
#7884 520 Rack Mount
One of the following features is required on the #0553:
#6069 - Optional Front Door for 2.0m Rack
#6247 - Enhanced No Door Trim Kit
#6249 - 2.0m Rack Acoustic Door
The following are optional features for the #0553 rack:
#6580 - Optional Rack Security Kit
#7780 - 2.0m Rack Side Attach Kit
#7841 - Ruggedize Rack Kit (Brace, Bolt Down Hardware, Metal Filler Panels)
The IBM marketing configurator does not manage rack space in the #0553
iSeries Rack. Use the table on page 276 to determine the number of EIA units
Note: For system units being mounted in the upper portions of a rack
and not utilizing the #1422 PDU cord, be sure the line cord (and SPCN
cable, if present) is of sufficient length.
