if a user can acquire PTFs electronically with ECS, they can acquire PTFs over
the Internet.
Application programming interfaces
Hundreds of i5/OS and OS/400 APIs can provide access to functions and data
not available through any other interface or levels of performance not available
through other interfaces. These CLIs are intended for use by Solution Developers
and IBM Business Partners whose applications require these functions and data.

Extensive run-time application function
