IBM Intelligent Communications Trace Analyzer for iSeries uses a TCP/IP
Communications Trace to diagnose many common connection, performance,
and security problems such as:
Excessive Packet retransmissions
Duplicate and out of order packets
Unexpected resets
Fragmented frames
Windows shrinkage
Slow packet round trip times
Failed pings
Broadcast storms
IBM Performance Tools for iSeries (5722-PT1)
Performance Tools for iSeries is a program product that provides a set of
reporting, analysis, and modeling functions to assist an iSeries administrator to
manage the performance of the system. It provides printed and online reports.
These can be in graphic or tabular form.
The Performance Advisor function assists the user in analyzing system
performance and provides recommendations. Performance Tools for iSeries,
through its modeling facility, can be used to help predict probable system
performance before changes are made.
