Models 2510 and 2510-AT User’s Manual SCPI Signal-Oriented Measurement Commands 9-3
subsystem, Data elements,” page 10-21), and what the instrument is
presently programmed to control and measure. Measure readings take
priority over source readings, and functions not sourced or measured are
assigned the NAN (not a number) value of +9.91e37.
NOTE The :FETCh? command is automatically asserted when the :READ? or
:MEASure? command is sent.
MEASure[:<function>]?
Parameters <function> = CURRent[:DC] Measure Peltier DC current
POWer Measure Peltier power
RESistance[:DC] Measure Peltier DC resistance
RESistance:AC Measure Peltier AC resistance
TEMPerature Measure Peltier temperature
TSENsor Measure temperature sensor
VOLTage[:DC] Measure Peltier DC voltage
Description This command combines other signal-oriented measurement commands
to perform a “one-shot” measurement and acquire the reading. Note that
if a function is not specified (:MEASure?), the measurement will be
done on the function that is presently selected. When this command is
sent, the following commands execute in the order that they are pre-
sented:
• :INITiate
• :FETCh?
The :INITiate command starts operation by taking the instrument out of
idle. After all control-measure operations are completed, the Model
2510 goes back into idle at which time the :FETCh? command is exe-
cuted. The readings are sent to the computer and displayed when the
unit is addressed to talk.
NOTE MEAS:RES:AC? will turn the output OFF and leave it OFF.
