Basic temperature control program
Program 1 is a complete program listing for the basic remote control-measure sequence
outlined in Section 3.
Instrument setup
Briefly, Program 1 sets up the Model 2510 as follows:
• Temperature function, setpoint 50°C.
• Lower and upper limits: 10°C and 100°C.
• PT100 100Ω RTD sensor with 4-wire sensing.
• PID loop constants: 10, 0.5, and 0.
• Current limit: 5.25A.
Requested readings
The program requests the following readings from the unit:
• TEC power.
• TEC current.
• Temperature.
• TEC DC resistance.
• TEC voltage.
