Step 8: Turn output off.
When finished, turn the output off and halt PID control by sending:

Protection limits for the four functions are discussed below. Table 3-8 summarizes protec-
tion limit characteristics.
NOTE For temperature and resistance, the upper limit cannot be set below the lower
limit and the lower limit cannot be set above the upper limit. Also, the setpoint
cannot exceed limit setting(s).
