Trigger subsystem
The Trigger subsystem is made up of commands to congure triggering. These commands
are summarized in Table 10-9.
NOTE The trigger commands function only in the calibration mode, and they are
ignored during normal operation. See the Model 2510 Service Manual for
details on calibrating the unit.
Initiate control/measure cycle
:INITiate
:INITiate[:IMMediate] Take Model 2510 out of idle state
Description This command is used to initiate control-measure operation by taking
the Model 2510 out of idle. The :READ? and :MEASure? commands
also perform an initiation.
Abort source/measure cycle
:ABORt Abort operation
Description When this action command is sent, the Model 2510 aborts operation,
returns to the idle state, and turns the output off.
UNIT subsystem
The UNIT subsystem controls units used for the temperature function. These commands
are summarized in Table 10-10.
:TEMPerature <name>
:UNIT:TEMPerature <name> Set temperature units
Parameters <name> = C | CEL Celsius units
F | FAR Fahrenheit units
K Kelvin units
Query :TEMPerature? Query temperature units
Description This command sets the units for the temperature function. Temperature
units include °C, °F, and K. Note that both temperature command
parameter units and reading temperature units are affected by this
command.
