Open-lead and shorted-lead conditions will be flagged under the follow-
ing conditions:
:SOURce2 <name>
:FORMat:SOURce2 <name> Set SOUR2 and TTL response formats
Parameters <name> = ASCii ASCII format
HEXadecimal Hexadecimal format
OCTal Octal format
BINary Binary format
Query :SOURce2? Query response format
Description This command controls the response format for all SOUR2:TTL queries
in a manner similar to formats set by the FORM:SREG command. See
“SOURce2 subsystem,” page 10-45, for details.
Bit Name Description
0 VOLTAGE_OFLO This bit is set to 1 when the voltage measurement was
made in an over-range condition. Cleared to 0 otherwise.
1 CURRENT_OFLO This bit is set to 1 when the current measurement was
made in an over-range condition. Cleared to 0 otherwise.
2 PID_BIT_A Encoded PID function enabled bit.
3 PID_BIT_B Encoded PID function enabled bit.

1 1 Resistance Active
4 REMOTE_SENSE 1 if in 4-Wire Mode, 0 if 2-Wire
5 GND_CONNECT 1 = Connected; 0 = Disconnected
6 OPEN_LEAD Set if open sensor lead condition exists.
7 SHORTED_LEAD Set if shorted sensor lead condition exists.
