“Self Test” for the MASTER CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT
19001 - Check GALVO COMMUNICATIONS CABLE
19002 - Check PMT BOARD CABLE and power
19003 - Check the power to the GALVO BOARD
19004 - GALVO AGC reference is too high. Suggest check if GALVO
connected and/or adjust AGC
Cause 4: The PMT/DAS BOARD A5 malfunctioned.
Action: Do the checkout for the PMT/DAS BOARD A5.
Cause: Communication problems in the GALVO AY.
Action: Check the GALVO COMMUNICATION CABLE.
Cause: The PMT/DAS BOARD A5 malfunctioned.
Action: Check:
• CABLE to the PMT/DAS BOARD A5
• power to the PMT/DAS BOARD A5
• PMT/DAS BOARD A5
Cause: No power to the GALVO BOARD A4.
Action: Check the power to the GALVO BOARD A4.
Cause: The reference voltage for the GALVO AGC is too high.
Action: Check:
• connection to the GALVO BOARD A4
• signal for the R2 AGC is correctly adjusted
• connections at the GALVO AY
