Initialization Errors
“Power-On Self-Test” (POST) Errors
Important
• An error occurs if the CR 825/850 SYSTEM energizes but does not display the main
menu.
• In normal operation, the computer in the CR 825/850 SYSTEM emits one beep after
initializing.
• The computer emits more than one beep when a malfunction occurs.
• If the TOUCH SCREEN displays a POST Error, see the “Troubleshooting Section” of the
Owner’s Manual for the IBM COMPUTER.
1 Listen to the beeps when the computer energizes.
2 Use the Table 9 to diagnose the malfunction.
