Photo Processing Method
Use the following procedure to select the method for processing copies of
photographs.

Press [System Menu / Counter]. The Sys. Menu/Count screen displays.

Press S or T to select Copy
Setting and press [Enter].
The Copy Setting screen
displays.

Press S or T to select Photo
Processing and press [Enter].
The Photo Processing screen
displays.

Press S or T to select the Error
diffusion or Dithering and press
[Enter].
A Completed message displays
and the Copy Setting screen
returns.
Item Description
Error diffusion This is the standard method that should be used
and is the factory default setting. Copies are clearer
if using originals with both text and photos.
Dithering Use this method for originals containing mainly
photos.
When using the scanning or printing functions,
image processing is accomplished using the
Dithering setting.
