2-20 ADVANCED OPERATION GUIDE
File Name Entry
A File Name can be entered for scan jobs using the File Name Entry option.
The File Name is used for the Job End Report which can notify users by e-
mail that a job has been completed. It is also used in the Status Menu for
administration purposes.
NOTE: For more information about notification by e-mail, refer to Job
End Report on page 2-23
Additional information such as the Date and Time or Job Number can be
included in the File Name.

the File Name. The
example shows how a scan
job created at 14:56 on

named.

Job No. doc0030.tiff A job number is added to
the File Name. This is
displayed as a 4-digit
number between 0001 and
9999.

Adds consecutive numbers
to each File Name in the
order that they were
