Photo Processing Method
Use the following procedure to select the method for processing copies of photographs.

Press the System Menu/Counter key. The Sys. Menu/Count screen is displayed.

Press the S key or the T key to select Copy
Setting and press the Enter key. The Copy
Setting screen is displayed.

Press the S key or the T key to select Photo
Processing and press the Enter key. The Photo
Processing screen is displayed.

Press the S key or the T key to select the desired
processing method and press the Enter key. The
message display shows Completed and returns to the
Copy Setting screen.
Item Description
Error diffusion This is the standard method that should be used and is the
factory default setting. Copies are clearer if using originals with
both text and photos.
Dithering Use this method for originals containing mainly photos. When
using the scanning or printing functions, image processing is
accomplished using the Dithering setting.
