Turning Scan Noise Reduction On and Off
Use the following procedure to enable scan noise reduction to reduce the appearance of black lines
which can appear on copy and scan jobs when using the document processor.

Press the System Menu/Counter key. The Sys. Menu/Count screen is displayed.

Press the S key or the T key to select Adjust and
press the Enter key. The Adjust screen is displayed.

Press the S key or the T key to select Scan Noise
Reduc and press the Enter key. The Scan Noise
Reduc screen is displayed.

Press the S key or the T key to select either On or
Off. Press the Enter key. The message display shows
Completed and returns to the Adjust screen.
