Ensure that the indicator strip located on the cable’s binder connector is facing
upward, as shown in
Figure 96. Align the indicator strip located on the cable
binder connector with the indicator strip located on the Urocap NXT charging hub
binder attachment. This will align the internal connections of the cable binder
connector and the Urocap NXT charging hub binder attachment, allowing them to
link (Figure 97).

Attach the cable’s Magnetic Pogo Pin connector to the Urocap NXT.
Urocap NXT Configuration with Wall Charger
The Urocap NXT can also be charged during a study by using the supplied wall charger and
the NXT Magnetic Pogo Pin cable. This configuration allows the Urocap NXT to be separated
from the NXT Pro cart for patient privacy.
Attach the binder connector to the connector on the wall charger.
Connect the wall charger to a power supply.
Attach the Magnetic Pogo Pin connector to the Urocap NXT.
6.8 NXT Pro Cart
The NXT Pro cart (Figure 98), acts as the backbone for the NXT system. Features of the NXT
Pro cart include the following:
• Four-inch swivel castor wheels for curb clearance with brakes for stability.
• An adjustable monitor mount (130 mm height, +25°/–15° tilt, 180° swivel
adjustment, 90° rotation—landscape to portrait).
• An articulating hoop assembly with Urocap NXT and Roam NXT docking stations.
Position the hoop assembly around the cart for ease of patient interaction.
