4. Remove the upper part of both side rails (one on each side of the hopper) [see Figure 3-69].
4 carriage bolts are to be taken out to remove this section of the side rail.

5. Start the engine and engage the hydraulic pump.
6. Extend packer to mid-stroke position.
7. Turn OFF the hydraulic pump and the engine.
8. Lock out and tag out the vehicle (see Locking Out and Tagging Out the Vehicle on page 14).
