The line speed signal acts as the feedforward control. The line speed signal is
mulplied by the reciprocal value of the actual diameter.
In the case of the dancer control, the drive is operated in speed control mode. The dancer
posion is recorded and compared to the setpoint posion. If a deviaon is detected, the
dancer control corrects the speed setpoint.
