6.7 Parameter data transfer
[6-8] Transfer of parameter data via the available parameter data channels
Parameters are values stored in codes on Lenze controllers.
Ten separate parameter data channels are available for parameter setting, enabling the
simultaneous connection of several devices for configuration purposes.
Parameter data are transmitted as SDOs ("Service Data Objects") on the system bus and
acknowledged by the receiver. The SDO enables read and write access to the object
directory. Indexes (e.g. I-1000
) enable access to the parameters and functions of the device
listed in the object directory. To transfer SDOs, the information contained in the user data
must comply with the CAN SDO protocol.
