The Essenza 300 bed can optionally be equipped with Bed Illumination (the source of light
situated under the seat section) and Handset Control Panel can optionally be equipped
with illuminated keyboard. Bed Illumination and Handset Control Panel Illumination help the
nursing sta󰀨 as well as the patient to orientate.
15.3 Bed Illumination and Handset Control Panel

Button:
The Essenza 300 bed is optionally equipped with three-phase illumination: Full intensity of illumination, Lowered intensity of illumi-
nation and Illumination is turned o󰀨.
The lowered intensity of illumination is set up after the bed is connected to the mains. The illumination is turned o󰀨 when
the bed is powered by accumulator only.
After pressing any button:
► Handset Control Panel keyboard and Bed Illumination will light up at full intensity within 3 minutes.
After elapsing the full intensity period:
► The illumination intensity of the Handset Control Panel keyboard and Bed Illumination will be lowered within 7 minutes.
After activating the bed via any Foot Control:
► The full intensity of Bed Illumination will be activated for 10 minutes and then the illumination will be lowered if the bed will
be still plugged into the mains.
Turning o󰀨 all illumination:
► Press Bed Illumination Control Button on the Attendant Control Panel or on the Siderail Control Panel and all illuminati-
on on the bed will be turned o󰀨.
