Command: >del dhcp host all_param
Syntax: del dhcp host all_param host_name
Explanation: Delete all the configuration parameters and the host itself for a specific host. When the
user
is sure he/she does not need to have a special configuration for a host, he/ can use this
delete command, instead of deleting parameters or the host one by one.
Parameters: host_name name of the host
Command: >del dhcp host hardware
Syntax: del dhcp host hardware host_name
Explanation: Delete host hardware type and address for the host identified by host_name
Parameters: host_name name of the host
Command: >del dhcp host next_server
Syntax: del dhcp host next_server host_name
Explanation: Delete next server in dhcp client’s boot process
Parameters: host_name name of the host
Command: >del dhcp host bootfile
Syntax: del dhcp host bootfile host_name
Explanation: Delete boot file name for the client. It is used by the system for loading purposes during the
boot up process.
Parameters: host_name name of the host
Command: >del dhcp host fixed_address
Syntax: del dhcp host fixed_address host_name
Explanation: delete host fixed address
Parameters: host_name name of the host
Command: >del dhcp host client_identifier
Syntax: del dhcp host client_identifier host_name
Explanation: Delete unique host identifier
Parameters: host_name name of the host
Command: >del dhcp host default_lease
Syntax: del dhcp host default_lease host_name
