2. Disconnecl

vacuum
hose lrom
the solenoid
valve as
shown
in thefigure,
and
verify that
no vacuum
is telt at the
solenoid
valve.

lf not as specified,
check the
solenoid
valve

Inspection
1. Drsconnect lhe
vacuum
hoses
kom lhe solenoid
valve
2. Verity that
no air
flows through
the
valve
from
port

to
pon
@.
3. Disconnect
the
solenoid
valve
conector and
apply 12V.
4. Verify that
air
flows through
the
valve from
pgrt
@

is
felt, measure
the resistance
ol the
solenoid
valve.

specified,
replace
the solenold

Inslallation

Disconnectthe

Disconnect
the solenoid
valve
connector.
3.
RemoveJhe
nut and

valve.
4. lnstall
in the
reverse order
of
removal.
