1. If removed, reinstall new crankshaft carrier as follows:
a. Apply a thin coat of Loctite 271 to carrier surface on crankshaft.
b. Square the carrier with crankshaft and using a 7/8 in.deep well socket and ham-
mer, carefully seat carrier onto crankshaft.

2. Apply2-4-Cw/Teflon to crankshaft rollerbearingsandthrust washers to holdcompo-
nents in place on crankshaft while reassembling.
3. Install roller bearings and thrust washers onto crankshaft.
