6. Attach the assembled damper.
(1) Push in the Damper until it engages with the claws.
• Be careful to avoid catching the Head cable.
7. Apply maintenance liquid to the seal rubber (inside the double damper FIT) on the maintenance head
washing unit.
• Use the correct maintenance liquid for the ink in use.
8. Attach the maintenance head washing unit to the Damper.
• Push in until the claws engage. Improper attachment may result in leaking maintenance solution.
9. Clamp the tube on the maintenance head washing unit using a tube cock and press the [ENTER] key.
• Creates a vacuum to even out flow rate differences between each route.
10. Push the maintenance head washing unit on to the maintenance liquid bottle.
• Be careful to avoid tipping over the maintenance liquid bottle. If maintenance liquid gets
into the machine, malfunctions, electric shock, or fire may result.
