651 Replace NCU The light source LED has
dimmed to unusable
levels due to deterioration,
dirt, or damage.
Occurs if the result of
executing [#Test] > [NCU]
> [Sensor Chk] is less
than [100].
No nozzle clogging in test print:
1. Clean the left- and right-hand side inner walls
of the NCU detection slit with a cleaning stick.
2. Check the cable connection for damage
between the PD_AMP PCB (CN1) and the
Base IO PCB (CN11).
3. Replace the NCU.
4. Replace the Base IO PCB.
652 NCU Nzk Chk (Hw) The HW was unable to
sample the NCU
discharge pattern.
The nozzles are badly
clogged or deflection is
occurring.
The NCU Y discharge
position is offset,
preventing discharge at
the NCU slit.
No nozzle clogging in test print:
1. Check the cable connection for damage
between the PD_AMP PCB (CN1) and the
Base IO PCB (CN11).
2. Replace the NCU.
3. Replace the Base IO PCB.
4. Perform [#Adjust] > [NCU] > [Pos Adj].
653 NCU NZK CHK
(Mark)
The NCU discharge
pattern analysis revealed
discharge not in
compliance with the
evaluation criteria.
An effective evaluation is
not possible due to
excessive nozzle clogging
or deflection.
No nozzle clogging in test print:
1. Check the cable connection for damage
between the PD_AMP PCB (CN1) and the
