657 Replace NCU Ink
Pad
• The ink pad is full.
1. Replace the NCU ink pad.
658 NCU Sensor Lv Low • Deterioration, dirt, or
damage to the light source
LED has reduced
brightness.
• Occurs if the result of
executing [#Test] > [NCU]
> [Sensor Chk] is less
than [110].
• An effective evaluation is
not possible due to
excessive nozzle clogging
or deflection.
No nozzle clogging in test print:
1. Clean the left- and right-hand side inner walls
of the NCU detection slit with a cleaning stick.
2. Check the cable connection for damage
between the PD_AMP PCB (CN1) and the
Base IO PCB (CN11).
3. Replace the NCU.
4. Replace the Base IO PCB.
65b NCU Sens
Adj Err H
• The sensitivity was too
low. The appropriate
sensitivity could not be
achieved even after
boosting LED brightness.
Possibly due to a dirty
unit, faulty LED, or faulty
connection
65c NCU Sens
Adj Err L
• The sensitivity was too
high. The appropriate
sensitivity could not be
achieved even after
dimming the LED.
Possibly due to a dirty
unit, faulty LED, or faulty
connection
