14.4 Lifting MiR1350
It may be necessary to lift the robot while servicing it. To lift the robot, use the
four M12 mounting holes in the corners of the top cover of the robot—see Figure
14.1.

To lift the robot safely without damaging it, ensure that the following criteria are
met:
•
Use four M12 eye-bolts with counternuts and washers in each corner of the
robot.
•
Make sure the thread engagement is greater than 12mm.
•
Tighten the counternuts to at least 25Nm.
•
All slings must be of equal length and have a lift rating of at least 1000 kg.
