■ Function of each key
[PRINT] key
Starts and stops printing. Pressing this key starts printing. Pressing this key again stops
printing.
TIP For information about printing, refer to section 4.5, “Printing Measured Results”.
[FEED] key
Feeds the printer paper.
[CONDITION READ] key
Calls the measurement conditions stored as a file in the internal memory of the Display
unit. This key functions also in force charging.
• Measurement conditions call
Pressing this key displays the file selection window on the touch panel. Touch the title
bar in the window to select the file to be called after the desired one has been selected.

TIP A measurement condition file can also be called from the Measurement Condition
Setup screen. For information about calling the measurement condition file, refer to
section 8.2, “Saving/Recalling the Measurement Conditions”.
• Force charging
Force charging is initiated by pressing the [POWER] key while holding down the
[CONDITION READ] key.
IMPORTANT Force charging is required only with the excessively discharged internal battery. The
internal battery may be excessively discharged if the SJ-301 has been left unused
for more than a half year. In case the battery can not be charged during normal
usage, avoid force charging. There may be other reasons than battery excess
discharging.
