■ Procedure for extracting measured data
The following describes the procedure of how the SJ-301 extracts measured data using
communication commands
1. Make the communication conditions consistent between the personal computer and the SJ-
301.
2. Set the SJ-301 communication mode to the RS-232C mode.
3. Issue the Write command for the number of required pieces of data from the personal
computer.
Example: When requiring 9600 pieces of data
WRNUM_9600 RC

If the SJ-301 receives the command properly, it returns a normal response to the personal
computer.
OK RC
If the SJ-301 does not receive the command properly, it returns an abnormal response.
Check the status contents and reissue the command.
4. Issue the Write command for the beginning and storage instructions of transfer data from
the personal computer.
Example: When extracting data from the beginning (1st point) of measured data
WRCAN____100 RC

If the SJ-301 receives the command properly, it returns a normal response to the personal
computer.
OK RC
If the SJ-301 does not receive the command properly, it returns an abnormal response.
Check the status contents and reissue the command.
5. Issue the Read command for the ASCII data from the personal computer.
