4. MEASUREMENT OPERATION
■ Using the ruler function
The SJ-301 is provided with the “ruler function (cursor display function)” that can numeri-
cally display the difference between two points by specifying two arbitrary points on a
zoomed-in measured profile.
● Screen in use of the ruler function
During use of the ruler function two cursors (vertical lines) are displayed on the screen. Also,
two horizontal lines are displayed with the intersections between each cursor and the mea-
sured profile being the starting points.
“X = ···” displayed at the bottom right of the screen indicates the length of the section
determined by the two cursors. Also, “Z = ···” indicates the difference (absolute value) of
height between the two points determined by the two cursors.
