Some of these parameters also affect MIDI file import: The Channel parameter of a
Sound will be used when importing a multi-channel MIDI file to its Group, while the
Root Note parameter will be used when importing a single-channel MIDI file to the
Group. For more information on MIDI file import please refer to section ↑7.8.3, Import-
ing MIDI to Patterns.
If MASCHINE is running as a plug-in in a host and you have configured your Scenes to
be triggered via MIDI notes, the Scene trigger has priority over any Sound trigger set to
the same MIDI channel. To configure MIDI control for Scenes, please refer to section
↑13.5, Triggering Sections or Scenes via MIDI.
