Serial communications set-up parameters
The following parameters need to be set according to the system requirements.
See Chapter 10 Building Automation on page 172 for further information
about the three building automation network (BAN) protocols available with the HVAC drive H300.
This drive does not provide the necessary line polarization for correct operation of the EIA-485 port, the data lines (Rx Tx and /Rx /Tx) must be
correctly biased in accordance with the relevant protocol specification, this is normally done in the communication master or controller. Please refer to
the relevant communication protocol specification for more information.
Serial communications set-up parameters
Serial Mode (11.024)

This parameter defines the supported data
formats used by the EIA-485 comms port on the
drive. This parameter can be changed via the
drive keypad, via a option module or via the
comms interface itself.
Serial Baud Rate

300 (0), 600 (1), 1200 (2), 2400 (3), 4800 (4), 9600 (5), 19200 (6),
38400 (7), 57600(8), 76800(9), 115200 (10)
This parameter can be changed via the drive
keypad, via a option module or via the comms
interface itself. If it is changed via the comms
interface, the response to the command uses
the original baud rate. The master should wait at
least 20 ms before sending a new message
using the new baud rate.
