Issue Number: 3
6.3 Full descriptions
Table 6-3 Key to parameter table coding
6.3.1 Parameter x.00
6.3.2 Monitoring
Open-loop
Pr 00.001 (05.004) indicates the value of the motor speed that is
estimated from the following:
02.001 Post Ramp Reference
00.017 Number Of Motor Poles
RFC-A / RFC-S
Pr 00.001 (03.002) indicates the value of the motor speed which is
obtained from the speed feedback.
Pr 00.002 (05.001) displays the frequency at the drive output.
Pr 00.003 displays the rms value of the output current of the drive in
each of the three phases. The phase currents consist of an active
component and a reactive component, which can form a resultant
current vector as shown in the following diagram:
The active current is the torque producing current and the reactive
current is the magnetizing or flux-producing current.
The output power (05.003) is the power flowing via the a.c. terminals of
the drive. The power is derived as the dot product of the the output
voltage and current vectors, and so this is correct even if the motor
parameters are incorrect and the motor model does not align the
reference frame with the flux axis of a motor in RFC-A mode. For Open-
loop, RFC-A and RFC-S modes, a positive value of power indicates
power flowing from the drive to the motor.
Coding Attribute
RW Read/Write: can be written by the user
RO Read only: can only be read by the user
Bit 1 bit parameter. ‘On’ or ‘Off’ on the display
Num Number: can be uni-polar or bi-polar
Txt Text: the parameter uses text strings instead of numbers.
Bin Binary parameter
IP IP Address parameter
Mac Mac Address parameter
Date Date parameter
Time Time parameter
Chr Character parameter
FI
Filtered: some parameters which can have rapidly changing
values are filtered when displayed on the drive keypad for
easy viewing.
DE
Destination: This parameter selects the destination of an
input or logic function.
RA
Rating dependent: this parameter is likely to have different
values and ranges with drives of different voltage and
current ratings. Parameters with this attribute will be
transferred to the destination drive by non-volatile storage
media when the rating of the destination drive is different
from the source drive and the file is a parameter file.
However, the values will be transferred if only the current
rating is different and the file is a difference from default
type file.
ND
No default: The parameter is not modified when defaults are
loaded
NC
Not copied: not transferred to or from non-volatile media
during copying.
PT Protected: cannot be used as a destination.
US
User save: parameter saved in drive EEPROM when the
user initiates a parameter save.
PS
Power-down save: parameter automatically saved in drive
EEPROM when the under volts (UV) trip occurs.
