The external EMC filters for sizes 0 to 6 can be footprint mounted or bookcase mounted as shown in Figure 3-45 and Figure 3-46. The external EMC
filters for sizes 7 to 11, are designed to be mounted above the drive as shown in Figure 3-47.
Mount the external EMC filter following the guidelines in section 4.11.6 Compliance with generic emission standards on page 101.
