Lift Assembly (contd)
When the cylinder moves the lance up, the lance down circuit is vented,
allowing the lance up circuit air to push the piston up. When the cylinder
moves the lance down, the lance up circuit is vented, allowing the lance
down circuit air to push the piston down.
The flow control valves installed in the cylinder air ports control the travel
speed of the piston rod. Three proximity sensors mounted on the cylinder
sense when the cylinder piston is in the hopper, box empty, or purge
positions.
