Note

To link operation with a printer driver, you need to install
the printer driver.
z
Network Extension is installed automatically when a
printer driver is installed on a TCP/IP network connection.
z
Operation is supported only for the printer driver
connection destinations shown below.
- OKI LPR Port
- Standard TCP/IP port
z
PC administrator privileges are required for the setup.
Checking the Printer
Settings
You can use the procedure below to check
connected printer configuration, etc.

Even if Network Extension is installed, the [Options]
tab will not be displayed if the operating environment is
incompatible.

Click [Start] and select [Control Panel]
in [Windows System].

Click [View devices and printers].

Right-click the [Pro1050 PCL6] icon,
and then select [Printer Properties].

Click the [Status] tab.
