Storage Manager Plug-in
The Storage Manager plug-in can be used to
manage jobs stored on the printer, to save forms
and fonts used for printing, and ICC profiles.
Note

The job management function does not support handling
of encrypted secure jobs.

Icon Types
The meaning of each icon is described below.
Icon Description
Create a new project.
Open a project.
Save a project.
Name a project and save it.
Add a file to a project.
Delete a file from a project.
Display the PCL form file filtering
screen.
Create a download file.
Send a download file.
Send a project.
Send a file.
Display the job management screen.
Display the management function
screen.

Registering an ICC Profile
Printer profiles can be registered and edited as
required. The information below explains some
of the profile functions.
An ICC profile can be used only by a printer
equipped with a hard disk.

To use profile registration and editing, install the Storage
Manager plug-in.

On the [Plug-ins] menu, select [Storage
Manager].

Click [ ] to create a new project.

Click [ ]. On the [Open File] dialog
box that appears, change [File Type] to
"ICC Profile (*.ICC, *.ICM)".

Select the file you want to register, and
then click [Open].

For the ICC profile added to the project,
click [Component] to display the [Edit
File] dialog box.

Select the number where you want to
register the profile.
Numbers that are already being used for
another project are highlighted in yellow,
indicating that they cannot be selected.

Enter comment text into the
[Comments] box, if you want.

Click [OK] to apply the changes.

At the bottom of the screen, select the
printer on the device list.

Click [ ] to send the project associated
with the added ICC profile to the
printer.

If a "Finished" message appears, read
it, and then click [OK].
