Registering a Form (Form Overlay)
You can register logos and other forms on the
printer and overlay them for printing. Here, we
will show how to register a form.
Creating a Form

Click [Start] and select [Control Panel]
in [Windows System].

Click [View devices and printers].

The printer driver has its own function for
registering forms.
Normally, use the form registration function on the
printer driver.
z
Form registration when the length of 1 page of
labels, or of paper, is shorter than 4 inches, is not
supported by this procedure.
Use the form registration function on the printer
driver.

Right-click the [Pro1050 PCL6] icon,
and then select [Printer Properties].

Select the [Ports] tab, select check
[FILE:] in [Printer Port], and then click
[OK].

Create the form you want to register on
the printer.

On the application [File] menu, select
[Print].

Print.

Enter a name for the file to be saved.

On the [Port] tab, return the [Printer
port] setting, which you changed in
step 3 of this procedure, to its original
setting.
Using Configuration Tool to Register a
Form on the Printer

On the [Plug-ins] menu, select [Storage
Manager].

Click [ ].

Click [ ], and then select the created
form file.
This adds the form to the project.

Click the form file.

Enter the [ID], and then click [OK].
Note

Do not change the [Volume] and [Path Name]
settings.

In the bottom pane of the Storage
Manager plug-in screen, select the
printer.

Click [ ].

Click [OK].
