SYSTEM CONNECTION
NOTE: the printer can be connected to the system using the serial interface, the parallel interface, the USB
port, or a combination of these. Using the configuration procedure, it is also possible to activate the
"Autoswitching" function, that is, the automatic recognition and connection of the printer that
becomes active first with the port. Refer to the section “Description of configuration parameters” on
page 4 - 6.
RS 232C serial interface (standard)
1. Connect the serial cable to the connector on the back of the machine.

2. From Set-up, program the following interface parameters: SERIAL 1; BAUD RATE; BIT/CHAR; PARITY;
STOP BIT; DSR e DCD (refer to section “CONFIGURING THE OPERATION PARAMETERS” on page 4 - 1).
