STRIPE HANDLING
NORMAL
Permits fast or normal management of the magnetic
stripe. In the case of normal management, each time
the magnetic stripe is read or written, passbook width is
measured in order to establish the precise position of
the stripe.
FAST
In fast management, the width of the passbook is
measured once only with the procedure described in
the specific chapter and no measurements are made
during reading or writing of the stripe, thus increasing
speed of management of the stripe.
