4. Remove the fasteners holding the top cover of the
unit to the bottom cover.
5. Cap and plug the hoses and the expansion valve
fittings with the proper A/C caps and plugs.
6. If removing the evaporator coil, remove the fasteners
holding the evaporator coil to the heater coil.
7. To Install, reverse procedure. Tighten fasteners to
specification.
TORQUE
Expansion Valve Pressure Hoses:
12 ft-lb (16 Nm)
Expansion Valve Tubes:
22 ft-lb (30 Nm)
8. Recharge the A/C system.
