 Unplug the machine power cord before starting the following procedures.
 Do not touch the guide rods [A], because they are greased.
 CCD Scanner – D158/D159
 CIS Scanner – D160/D161/D170
When reassembling
 Adjust the following SP modes after you replace the scanner unit or each part of the scanner
unit:
