Printing a Configuration Page
After you set up the machine or install options, print the configuration page to check the machine
status.
1. Press the [User Tools/Counter] key.
2. Press [Printer Features].
3. Press [List / Test Print].
4. Press [Configuration Page].
5. Press the [User Tools/Counter] key.
 After setting up the machine, configure the hard disk overwriting and data encryption
settings. (page 2-73 "Data Overwrite Security", page 2-75 "HDD Encryption")

Provide instructions on the following matters to customers. For detailed procedures, see the user
manuals.
 Operating the printer/copier/scanner/fax functions
 Installing consumables and loading paper
 Operating the main power switch
 Removing jammed paper
 Registering/changing/deleting data in the address book
 Providing precautions on use
 Connecting to computers (such as configuring the port setting)
 Giving a brief outline of the tabs in the drivers
