By default, user-entered addresses have one subtracted
when frames are constructed to communicate with a
Modbus device. If the device does not follow this

Request Timeout

Specify the amount of time the driver waits for a
complete request frame to be received.
The elapsed time is calculated from the instant the first
byte of a new request is received. If a complete request
frame is not received during this time, the driver flushes
it received data buffers and assumes the next received
byte is the start of a new request.
