Routing a Pair of Busses to the Stereo MONITOR Bus
1. Press EZ ROUTING.
2. If “OUTPUT” isn’t above F3, press PAGE repeatedly until it is.
3. Press F3 (OUTPUT)—the OUTPUT ASSIGN screen appears.
The assignment of a pair of busses—or a stereo bus—to the stereo MONITOR bus
is shown by the MONITOR bus assignment junction at the left of the output
routing area on the OUTPUT ASSIGN screen as shown above.
4. Press
to highlight the MONITOR bus assignment junction.
5. Turn the Time/Value dial to choose the pair of busses to be sent to the stereo
MONITOR bus—as you turn the dial, the connection moves up and down through
the busses on the left side of the display, showing what’s being sent to the bus.
Monitoring the Recording Busses Directly
To listen to the recording busses (Page 59) directly without sending them through their
track channels, assign REC L/R to the MONITOR bus. When you do this:
• All eight recording busses are combined into a single stereo signal for monitoring.
•You can adjust this stereo signal’s level using the REC ATT parameter.
In this illustration, we’ve
selected the MONITOR
bus assignment junction,
and the stereo MASTER
bus is selected as the
signal being sent to the
stereo MONITOR bus.
