EZ Routing Tools
The EZ Routing tools that appear at the bottom of the EZ ROUTING VIEW, OUTPUT
and EFFECT screens allow you to clear and initialize the routing of any signals to the
hard disk recorder tracks.
When the hard disk recorder track connections are:

initialized
—Input Channels 1-10 are routed to Tracks 1-10.
•
cleared
—no input channels, Aux busses, Direct paths, track channels or FX return
channels are routed to tracks.
Saving and Loading EZ Routing Templates
As you use your VS-2000, you’ll spend lots of time creating routing setups for the
various situations in which you’ll be recording and mixing. You can save a routing
setup—along with a host of other parameters—as an EZ Routing template that you can
use in any project. When you recall a template, all of the routings and parameter values
it contains are instantly restored, saving you lots of setup time. You can save up to 20 EZ
Routing templates.
To: Press:
initialize all routings to hard disk recorder tracks F3 (IniTrA)
clear all routings to hard disk recorder tracks F4 (ClrTrA)
While some of the parameters saved in an EZ Routing template are also stored in
scenes, a scene belongs to a particular project, while an EZ Routing template is always
available.
The VS-2000 ships with seven always-available EZ Routing templates for recording,
bouncing and mixdown. You can find a list of the connections and parameters each of
these templates installs on Page 400.
