Using the Low Profile Type
1. If the Anti-Roll Plate is set, tilt the Anti-Roll Plate and vacuum suction
port toward you.
2. Tilt toward you the disposable blade mounting lever indicated in red, to
unlock the disposable blade [1].
3. Set the Low Profile adapter, if not yet installed. For the setting method,
refer to the next item, "How to Set the Low Profile Adapter."
4. Insert the new disposable blade between the blade holder and stage
[2].
For smooth insertion, align the guide of the Disposable Blade Holder.
5. Push out the old disposable blade, if it still remains.
6. Use the handle of a brush, etc., to adjust the position of the disposable
blade so that it becomes parallel with the stage [3].
7. Tilt away from you the disposable blade mounting lever indicated in red,
to lock the disposable blade [4].
The Low Profile type refers to A35, S35 and C35 disposable blades,
among others.
How to Set the Low Profile Adapter
1. If the Anti-Roll Plate is set, tilt the Anti-Roll Plate and vacuum suction
port toward you.
2. Tilt toward you the disposable blade mounting lever shown in red, to
unlock and pull out the lever [1]. This unlocks the stage.
3. Lift the stage and pull it out [2].
4. You can now access the location to set the Low Profile adapter.
5. Place the adapter and set it by tightening the screws.
To remove the adapter, loosen the screws.
6. Set the stage.
7. Tilt away from you the disposable blade mounting lever indicated in red,
to lock the disposable blade.
